There is something fishy about Chang-in (Han Suk-kyu), a guy who rents a room in a two-story house occupied only by a mother and a daughter. Although he introduced himself as a writer he is definitely up to something given how he snoops around the house whenever he can -- as if looking for something in particular. But mistress of the house Yeon-joo (Kim Hye-soo) who is suffering from depression and insomnia at the same time and her rebellious teenage daughter Seong-ah (Jiwoo) who is going through a stormy period of her life from her obsession over the faults to her looks, will not permit Chang-in to come close by maintaining a hysterical attitude. Even the woman next door (Lee Yong-nyeo) who likes to poke her nose into others' businesses gets in his way. With time running out, Chang-in, increasingly anxious, ends up throwing himself at Yeon-joo to avoid a risky moment.

Han Suk-kyu is back. And with the perfect role.

"Villain and Widow" is a movie that is hard to explain beforehand because it is a suspense comedy -- anything can be a spoiler that could ruin the fun of the show. So all that can be done is to repeat saying, “It’s fun, it’s really, really fun... but I can’t tell you exactly why it is so and there’s just no way to explain it." But what is certain is that this film stands out the most in its usage of an extremely sophisticated form of comedy compared to its local rivals released so far. A treasure hunt in a limited space, a mother and daughter who are a nervous wreck, and a kind-faced villain may come off as a bit too contrived yet "Villain and Widow" skillfully brings the elements together to make its audience laugh to tears. The film was directed by Son Jae-gon who became even better at handling black comedy since “My Scary Girl (2006),” making laughter break out at the most unexpected moments as the story unfolds. The movie is the result of perfect timing and chemistry of its actors rather than word play or exaggerated situations.

The reunion of actor Han Suk-kyu and actress Kim Hye-soo who appeared as lovers in the film “Dr. Bong (1995)” 15 years ago is another interesting point to watch in particular. Every small line they say and the details to their facial expressions that evokes laughter proves they are still at the height of their acting careers.
Chang-in who struggles to seduce Yeon-joo but reveals his rough nature at some point of the story once again reminds viewers of Han's wide spectrum of acting. Kim Hye-soo too knows how to pull off the ill-tempered and idiotic character Yeon-joo, playing the part to a subtle point in a convincing way. Supporting actors such as Kim Ki-chun, Lee Yong-nyeo and Um Ki-joon also guarantee there will be much to laugh about in the film despite their short appearance. Nonetheless, the best news that "Villain and Widow" brings to you is that actor Han is back. The movie premieres on November 25.

Gender is not the only thing that sets the word 'actress' apart from 'actor.' The word 'actress' alone carries layers of meaning that could refer as one to be envied, a seemingly unreachable glory and perhaps a tragic personal story or two hidden within. Living as an actress in Korea means carrying both a light and darkness inside that are enough to invoke curiosity. And actress Kim Hye-soo fits this category perfectly, as if the term was coined for her alone. Her glamorous body and a confident attitude are some of the phrases we often use to describe Kim's aura. But above all, the prowess she accumulated through her acting career has helped to solidify her position as a true actress.

Kim’s filmography alone reveals the typical life of an actress since her debut as a teenage star, the trials and errors she had to go through in order to be reborn as a real actor. After working on films such as “First Love” (1993) and “Tie A Yellow Ribbon” (1998), she started to get acknowledged for her acting alone in “Faceless Beauty” (2004) and “The Red Shoes” (2005) to the point she rid the distance between the role she played as shown in “The War Of Flower” (2006) and “Modern Body” (2008). With her latest film “Widow and Villain (2010),” Kim reached the pinnacle of her acting career, her collaboration with actor Han Suk-kyu “As Good As It Gets” showing what kind of synergy the two great actors can create together.

“The problem was in the details of the character. I decided not to include any of the ordinary details, forget that this is a comedy and concentrate only on being that character alone for every moment. But every time I caught on a new detail, I worried about whether I would be able to express it properly.” That was how the character Yeon-joo -- a widow of contrasting qualities who is both on guard and attracted to the suspicious renter living upstairs, always in need of sleeping pills or liquor to get to bed but tough enough to bellow against middle-aged guys next to her table -- was reborn as a woman who is pitiful but funny, and cute but with an aura of a painful past. Accordingly, the films that attracted Kim, who is in her 24th year of her acting career, are also the kinds that amplified what great actresses can offer. These are the films through which Kim said she met the movie of her youth and came to learn about the insanity and passion that stems from love.

剧情
　　这是一部融合了"欢喜冤家"所有元素的影片。

　　女主人公妍珠是个毒舌美女，情绪极易激动，动不动就以泪洗面。女儿成雅正处在敏感的青春期，对自己的容貌没有自信。这对有点歇斯底里的母女此前过着一成不变的生活，突遭经济危机，于是，决定出租自家二楼的房间，贴补家用。新来的租客是个身份暧昧不明男子。这个名叫昌仁的男子自称作家，但每天做的事情都是检查楼上楼下角角落落，行为非常诡异，并很快引来左邻右舍的注意和怀疑……由此，在被忧郁症困扰的女房东和鬼鬼祟祟的男房客之间展开了一段搞笑而又充满悬疑色彩的故事。




幕后制作

　　悬疑浪漫 别出新裁

　　影片导演孙在坤此前只执导过一部2006年上映的《甜蜜阴森的恋人》。该片获得了意想不到的好成绩，创造了本土230万人次的观影记录。这部小预算、小明星、新导演、限制级的电影之所以呈现了这样一份出色的成绩单，全赖构思巧妙、情节新颖，将恐怖、悬疑和浪漫等元素糅合到一起。《二楼的恶人》是孙在坤蛰伏四年后的最新力作，并再次将影片定位为悬疑浪漫剧。片中女主人公情绪易波动，深受忧郁症困扰，内心始终有解不开的心结，偏偏女儿同样处在敏感的青春期，两个"感情动物"凑在一起简直一触即发。男主人公昌仁的真实身份令人揣摩不透，但可以清楚的知道他的目的不在写作，而是所租的这所房子。这一男一女一个心思缜密，有着深藏不露的玄机，一个伤春悲秋，而且嘴不饶人，性格上的反差为玄妙的剧情制造了巨大的张力。孙在坤表示，韩国的电影日渐发达的背后是题材的匮乏和人物的苍白。一个好故事需要编者的精心策划，而重中之重就是一个"新"字，想象力在这里不可或缺。《甜蜜阴森的恋人》之所以受到青睐正是由于故事出彩，让人意想不到。又如人气片《丑女大翻身》为人造美女翻案，《胡萝卜小姐》中孔孝真饰演的"红脸病"女教师，都是令人感到新奇的内容。

　　强强联手 再续前缘

　　除了好故事，本片的另一大亮点就是韩石奎与金惠秀时隔15年的再度合作。如今，两人已是韩国影艺界举足轻重的人物，每有新作问世都会引起业内外的热议。韩石奎在接受媒体采访时说："我最早是金惠秀的影迷，那时我刚从军队回来，看到还是中学三年级的她在电影《甘宝》中的表现，不由心中一惊。没想到9年后，我们合作了《风流医生》，至此，我已经彻头彻尾成为了她的粉丝。这两年，她的变化很大，美得越来越霸气，片子也越拍越精彩了。当时接到这个剧本时，我还在考虑，但知道是她主演时，马上就同意接拍了。"正如韩石奎所言，金惠秀近年早已摆脱"性感女神"封号带来的困扰，凭借越来越多的作品使人们对她的关注从身材转移到了演技上。在拍摄了《无颜美女》、《老千》等片后，金惠秀已经彻底成为中生代的当家花旦，并化身当之无愧的"时尚女王"。此次，她摇身一变，成了一位神神叨叨、情绪紊乱的中年妇人。这已不是金惠秀第一次饰演母亲，但这次的母亲形象颇具神经质，某些方面和青春期的女儿十分相像。金惠秀在谈到"母亲"心得时表示：如果结婚我想生三个孩子。不知道是不是因为在我周围有姐姐生的外甥们的原因，总觉得如果我生了孩子，有自信能够抚养得很好。当然，首先要结婚啦！但是时机还不到，我还是比较享受目前的状态。言外之意，她与刘海镇的恋爱关系已经走入稳定期。

从金叔叔看到韩叔叔，生活真幸福啊～～～

挺有趣的，腔调和孙在坤上一部作品一样，怪怪的，哈哈哈。

有很多很有趣的故事情节，每个人物也都各有特色，160啦，双眼皮啦，50岁啦，富二代的偏见啦，谁发明手机啦，很多很多的细节。除了有趣的细节，片子里还有正太警察和学生各一名，其实那个小女孩长得挺好看的呀，弄双眼皮干嘛。韩叔叔好坏，那女孩长得不错，干嘛那样说人家，切～～～

哈哈，不开玩笑了，孙在坤的节奏有问题，前面拖的很，我中间还跑去吃饭了。黑色喜剧的部分荒诞感应该更加加强一些，内容如果更集中在找躲藏一线而不是爱情和其他细枝末节上会更好。现在太多的枝蔓，实在影响了影片的整体力度。剧本和成片之间的差距从这里就可见一斑了，总的来说孙在坤还是有料的，不过节奏和重心需要把持住，而且下次就算节奏不好，也请放在影片的结尾，烂尾肯定比开头不济吸引的观众多。

演员的话，这片子阵容非常好，而恰好孙在坤把每个角色都塑造的不错。偶觉得韩叔叔在片子里很帅，金慧秀那个怪咖形象好适合她，发飙的状态演的可真好。哈哈，她和韩叔叔气场挺合的，韩叔叔表演稳重一些，慧秀JJ张扬些，正好。严基俊Oppa的细节超棒的，各种fighting，还有那个富二代的言论笑死人了，以后一定要一定要多演电影哈。除此之外一大堆漂亮的配角阵容，那个出场一次的心理医生，是《义兄弟》那位？发型怎么那样了？

嗯，有趣但不给力，大概就是这样吧。
