对围城中的男女不落巢臼的解读!
很少人知道这部新片,因为在韩国院线还未上档(只在全州影展和一些大学的文化会馆放映),是走电影节路线的独立电影,已经在世界多个影展参展,特别是欧洲。这样的片子不知这里的D商是否会引进?可能要等很久
这是导演闽秉国自编自导的长篇处女作,1962年生,成均馆大学经济系毕业,在洪尚秀1998年的《江原道之力》作过副导演。看剧照的感觉,就有点江原道之力的味道
《可能的变化》这个剧本于1996年开始创作,2001年获得韩国文化日报新春文艺剧本大奖,并由此筹得电影拍摄资金。2004年拍峻。
此片是2004年全州国际电影节的开幕影片,莫斯科国际电影节官方竞赛单元入围,瑞士诺枷洛国际电影节竞赛单元入围,最近又在刚结束的东京国际电影节上获得最佳“亚洲电影奖”。
片中的主演之一郑瓒在《公路电影》曾有过出色表现,蛮喜欢他!
Synopsis
Two childhood friends, Moon-ho and Jong-kyu, in their mid-thirties, feel the acute loss of their younger years as time passes before them. They together commit spontaneous, trois affair with a woman they meet for the first time. Moonho pursues in vain for an extramarital sexual affair with Yun-jung, a woman he meets through the internet. Jong-kyu meets his first love, Soo-hyun, for the first time in ten years and together they head for a hotel... But the story goes on as if the two couples had never met...?
Director’s Statement
This film deals with ambiguities inherent in our lives. The ambiguities blur the traditional definitions of what is moral and immoral, legal and illegal, pleasure and displeasure, and life and death. Reality is not realistic, dream is reality; living is difficult but easy at the same time; love can be precious but senseless; religion is heavy but light as a feather. Our lives are manifestations of desires, conflicts and pursuits...but what for? This film casts an unsolvable question about the ambiguities of our lives, the meaning of inherent adversaries and possible salvation. Where can one find the potentialities for these possible changes to the principles of life that have been deliberately framed in the history of human beings?

The opening film of the 5th Jeonju International Film Festival <Possible changes> by director Min Byung-kook is his first feature debut film that feels like a monologue about one entity divided into many personas, much like how a dealt subject often gets excluded from the screen. Everyday life began from somewhere far off dispersing itself like the poisonous elements in the air, settling inside the characters, and the characters stand below the sky, above the sea and by the cliff. We have seen many such characters suffering in the face of common hopelessness in numerous films, and it can even start to feel too banal. But this wall of despair is of great power that can shape the portraits of many people, and this film silently directs our attention to the divided course of action taken by one character which seem to attempt minor changes in the unchanging everyday lives.
