On the tremendously hot summer day, SYA is shooting the poster of the movie ‘Losing Love’ at the Seonyudo Park in Seoul.
SYA, who always makes a lot of people happy with her fresh smile, plays the role heroine named Yeon-soo in the movie ‘Losing Love’. She said, “When I first read the script, I thought this character was a simple character because she seemed easygoing, and tomboyish, but was too shy to show her love to the man that she loved. However, as I read the script, I realized that this character was not so simple than I expected. Moreover, the director Choo advised me to control her emotion, so I spent a lot of time only analyzing the character.”
However, she told that she was confident of playing this role. She is the real actress who can express the character just by the tone of the voice or little trembling.
The movie ‘Losing Love’ is about connection between a man who doesn’t notice his companion who is just next to him and always loses timing to propose, and a woman who is tomboyish and easygoing, but too shy to show her love to the man who she loves.
SYA doesn’t look like a famous ‘star’. She always acts kindly toward everyone. As soon as she saw me (reporter) at the Seonyudo Park, she said, “Oh, it’s so hot day, isn’t it?” and handed the ice bag that was put on her shoulder to me. She threw a question, “What do you think of our movie?” And she added, “I really hope that my performance can stir many audiences’ emotion. To make lots of people impress, I have to be more into the character.”
SYA who also considers response of the audiences is a great actress even though she doesn’t release an explosive energy.
Interview with SYA
Q: What makes you choose this movie?
A: I first read the script 3 years ago. After reading, I felt I wanted to watch this movie as a woman and a human. Actually, I promised to appear in this movie 3 years ago. But I couldn’t do it, for the situation was not so good. However, after some years, I received the script again. I felt this was kind of destiny. I thought, ‘This movie has to be performed by me. The role is mine.’ So, I decided to appear in this movie.
Q: Please explain the character ‘Yeonsoo’
A: She is very easygoing, bright, and openhearted. Maybe, a lot of women will like this type of woman. Actually, I thought she was very simple character. But the director Choo required me not to show her emotion. Now that is very hard homework to me. Playing the role whose character is extreme is easier to me. Expressing the whole character only by showing delicate emotion is not easy.

然而，她表示，她很有信心诠释好这个角色。通过音调的变化以及微小的颤动去表现角色，这就是真正的演员。
“Losing Love”是一部有关男女之间感情的电影，男主角是一个不曾注意身边的同伴而一次次错失求婚机会的男人，而女主角看上去自由不羁，却羞于向自己所爱的人表白。
宋允儿看不去不像明星，她总是亲切的面对每个人。当她在仙游岛公园看到我时，她向我打招呼“天气很热吧？”，然后把自己肩上的冰袋递给我。"你觉得我们的电影如何?" 她问我， “我真的希望我的表现能打动观众。为了给人留下深刻的印象，我必须全心地设入这个角色。”
即使没有释放爆发性的潜能，宋允儿也是一位重视观众反应的优秀演员．

问：是什么令你选择了这部电影？
答：我第一次阅读剧本是在3年前。读过后，我觉得自己应该以一个女人或者以一个人的身份去看这部电影。事实上，我3年前曾答应出演这部电影。但是当时的境遇不允许我去做。然而，在数年之后，当我再次接到剧本，我感觉到命运的安排。我认为这部电影就应该由我来完成。这个角色就是我的。于是，我决定出演。

答：她是非常自由不羁、伶俐而直率的。也许，很多女人将会喜欢这一类型的女人。实际上，我认为她的个性非常单纯。但是导演要求我不要表现她的感情。这对于我是一个难题。饰演性格极端的角色对我来说比较容易，但仅仅通过微妙的情绪去表现完整的角色对我来说却是一个挑战。

SYA, “I got a hunch that this was my movie.”
“When I got the script of the same movie after 3 years, I had a hunch that this was my movie.”
The actress SYA finally got a suitable movie for her. In the romantic movie ‘Losing Love’, she plays the tomboyish heroine with Seol Kyung goo. Unlike TV drama, she hasn’t met a decent movie that can fulfill her desire as an actress. So, she is expecting that this movie will surely do. Actually, the movie ‘Losing Love’ seems to be a perfect match for her.
* She even shot the film with no make-up.
When I met SYA at the reservoir in Jeonjoo, she was wearing an old-fashioned skirt like an old woman. It was her costume in the movie. Even though this movie is such a beautiful romantic movie, she doesn’t even make up as a heroine.
SYA said, “This is my character in this movie. So I don’t try to make up to the utmost. However, the director even required me not to put on make-up at all. Even a male actor does make-up, so it would be rare case not to make-up as an actress. I was confused for the first time, but now I think the director was right and that was better.
* After first shooting, she suffered from fatigue for 2 weeks.
“When I first read the script, I thought I could play this role very well. But after I finished first shooting, I suffered from fatigue for 2 weeks. Normally, the movie expresses our typical life, but I first realized that expressing the ordinary life was most difficult thing.
“I never knew that playing the common life was the hardest thing. I even told the director that I would seem to grow up after shooting this movie.”
She first met this movie when she was shooting the movie ‘Jail Breaker’
“I really liked life, sadness, and love that the character Yeonsoo has gone through. When I first got the script, the situation was not so good because the male actor Seol Kyung goo had to shoot the film ‘Silmido.’ But after 3 years, I received this script again, and I felt the same feeling as I first read the script. So I got a hunch that this was MY movie.
* She hopes that his movie can be her milestone since her debut.
SYA expects that this movie can be her masterpiece. It has been 10 years since she debuted in the entertainment industry. But she still hasn’t had her own movie unlike TV dramas. The horror movie ‘Face’ and the comic movie ‘Jail Breaker’ are most of her works.
“It has been over 10 years since I debuted in the entertainment industry. But unfortunately, I still haven’t had a suitable movie for me. So I hope this movie can fulfill my desire for movie.”
So even though the director signed, “OK,” she even told him, “One more time!”
“Now we finished 60% of shooting. As I finish shooting each scene, I am surprised, for every scene is described in detail. I never expected that the male director expressed a woman’s emotion minutely. So I am getting delicate, either.”

当我在池塘边遇见允儿时，她正穿着一件旧式的中年妇女似的长裙。这就是她在这部电影中的服饰。尽管是一部浪漫美丽的爱情电影，但她甚至不化妆地面对镜头。

“我从来不知道，最大的难题居然是表现最真实的生活。我甚至向导演倾诉，通过拍摄这部电影，我将成长起来。”
▲她第一次真正接触电影是在拍摄‘光复节特赦’时。
“我非常喜欢妍书身上所散发的个性，活泼、热情，但有时显得悲伤。我第一次拿到剧本，当时的情形并不是很适合拍摄，因为男主角薜景求接拍了另一部电影‘Silmido’。但是3年后，我再次接到剧本，我有种与第一次看到剧本时一样的感觉。所以我预感到这是属于我的电影。”
▲她希望这部电影是她从影以来的转折点。
宋允儿期待这部电影将成为她的代表作。踏入演艺圈已经十年了，不像在电视剧上所获得的成绩，她还没有一部真正属于她的电影。恐怖片‘FACE’及喜剧片‘光复节特赦’是她取得的最大成绩。
“我进入演艺圈已经十年了。但遗憾的是，我还没有找到真正适合我的电影。所以我希望这部电影能实现我对好电影的渴望。”
所以尽管导演认为很好，她也会要求再来一次。
“现在我们已经完成了近60%的拍摄。当我每完成一个场景的拍摄，我都会感到惊讶，每一个场景都被详细的描述着。我从来没有期待一位男性导演能如此细腻地表现女性的情感世界。我或许也能因此变得细腻起来。” |
