27部作品入围今年的PPP计划

+ |9 {1 W% `2 h( }; F5 BThe Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), Asia's largest film fest, has unveiled the line up of 27 projects selected for this year's Pusan Promotional Plan (PPP).! n9 S0 }+ p0 l, z) s
5 g+ [- E' ^: H, S7 ^7 |$ e* VThe projects to be introduced to potential co-producers, financers and investors include Oxide Pang's "The Psycho Virus," Tsai Ming Liang's "The Diary of a Young Boy" and 1993 Berlin Golden Bear winner Xie Fei's "Red Coal."

9 m: k$ s9 _; CNoted Japanese director Ogigami Naoko of "Kamome Shodoku" and "Glasses" will present her project "Suika and Kinoko" at PPP, while also mentoring young film students at the Asian Film Academy and screen her feature "Toilet" at the PIFF.; n/ |" ?: _+ C/ q" y+ _! t

Works by Korean directors including Lee J-Yong, Choi Donghun and Daniel H.Byun have also been chosen for the fest although the number of nominations are down from last year.- @& B( D! E/ V' c e: e R
0 a- [ B8 y' @1 QThe PPP will take place at the Seacloud Hotel at Haeundae Beach alongside the Asian Film Market from October 10 to 13. The PIFF, into its 15th year, runs from October 7 to 15.
