Eom Gi-joon comes back with "The Story" as a detective

Actor Eom Gi-joon（严基俊） is coming back with a movie for the first time in two years.
His agency reported that Eom Gi-joon takes on the role of a detective who chases after a mystery murder case.
"The Story" is based on a theme 'The story that will call in the revengeful spirits, a picture with a revengeful spirit' and is about the mystery murder surrounding a web toon artist and the web toons. Produced by Kim Yong-gyoon from "Wanee and Junah", "Red Shoes", "The Sword with No Name" and more.
Eom Gi-joon takes on the role of Lee Gi-cheol, a detective. He leads the movie with his partner detective Yeong-soo to solve the murders that happen around Ji-yoon (Lee Si-yeong) the webtoon artist.
He is also an earthly character who does things for his own benefits and brings in the press into a case.
Eom Gi-joon is about to turn rough and raggedy for the image of a typical detective.
This character will be a change for Eom as his past projects have shown him as the cod and charismatic characters.
"The Story" has confirmed Lee Si-yeong（李诗英） in the lead and is looking forward to releasing in early 2013.
Meanwhile, Eom Gi-joon's musical "Jack the Ripper" ended in success he is currently playing the part of Daniel once again in Japan's Aoyama theater.

演员严基俊将通过影片《故事》（中文名暂定）重返电影大荧幕，这是严基俊两年后重归电影圈的新作。故事以“招回冤魂的故事，带有冤魂的画作”为主题，讲述的是围绕网络漫画以及网络漫画家发生的悬疑杀人事件。这部影片是曾执导《青涩恋爱》、《鬼红鞋》、《像火花像蝴蝶》的金容钧导演复出之作。
影片中严基俊饰演的热血**李基哲负责调查围绕网络漫画家智允（李诗英 饰）发生的杀人案件。李基哲这个人身上不乏世俗的一面，比如有时为了自己的前途甘愿走钢丝一样铤而走险，又或在查案时有意把媒体拉进来，影片中将与李诗英共同带动整个故事发展。
严基俊在前作影片《被破坏的男子》和电视剧《幽灵》等作品中曾经以反面角色牢牢吸引观众视线，此番在新作中挑战新形象，转型变成一个慈眉善目、没有眼力见的**。从网络漫画这一新鲜素材展开的这部影片计划明年下半年公映。
