hohoho ... bori deserved that slap from tae-in's dad. in fact ... he should have slapped her twice. i would have cheered him.
what kind of behaviour is that? if you don't want to marry the guy ... just say no? let him go about happily planning the wedding & then do the mature thing like getting drunk at his nephew place, cry in his arms & spend the night there the night before wedding. nice going ... that's exactly the way a teacher should act ... set an example to your student ... guess being irresponsible is a trait for a teacher to have these days.
smart thing for her to do to leave good impression for tae-in's father especially if she have some feelings for him ... planning to marry the uncle but spending the night with the nephew. from what i've seen so far ... all of bori's obstacles in life are there because she put it there herself.
and how nice of her to not set hyun woo straight eventhough she knew he thought she wanted him to wait for her or something. guess she just loves leading men on. what's so difficult about making a clean break? first she leads tae-in on when she fancied herself in love with hyun-woo and now she leads hyun woo on after she fancied herself having some feelings towards tae-in.
and after all that balderdash self-righteous speech from tae-in who lectured his uncle on how he should protect his woman ... when it comes to his turn ... he stuttered his explaination & quietly leave the room to leave bori to defend herself to his father. ho ... so who's the wimp now? i thought he's so good at pulling bori & running away? nice going too tae-in ... you & bori do deserve each other i suppose.
tae-in selling the motorbike to buy matching handphones for himself & bori is sweet and romantic? i think not ... 'coz the irony is he bought it by selling off something that was given to him by hyun woo anyway. the only person who was kind to him throughout his childhood. even his father said so. not that he ever thought of it while he was obsessing with his uncle's gf. yeah ... i don't mean anything by it uncle ... by selling off your gift to me so i can buy your fiancee a gift. it guess it never occur to him that it would have been more meaningful if he bought it by money he earned on his own.
guess the morale of korean drama these days is ... if you're hot ... you can be as overbearing & obnoxious as you want & everyone will still think you're prince charming in disguise |
