Out of the top 10 Korean movies of all time, I have seen:
1. King and the clown
2. Taegukgi
3. Welcome to Dongmalguk
4. Shiri
5. JSA
6. Memories of murder
5 out of 10 deal with North/South Korea situation. Shiri is also my first ever Korean movie. But if you ask me which one is my most favourite one, I would say 'King and the clown'.
'King and the clown' is simply different and it casts a magic spell on me. I have seen it 10 times already, and every time I still can find something new. There're so much information the director wanted to convey that JS and GG love relationship just paled in comparison (what I wanted to say is too many people laid their eyes on the 'wrong' theme).
This movie also keeps me thinking on a lot of life issues-- we are here不過為了混碗飯吃!

A lot of time we have to gamble(decision making), and just wish that we are making the right choice without regrets afterwards. Making a living is tough, and I am glad that I still have the enthusiasm with my job as JS and GG with their performances.
