Episode 1
Sun Moo, DanYoung's oppa and magician guy are living together as a family. The magician is performing at some event, the two guys there are there to help out and stuff. Kang Jae, his dad and his dad's friend at somewhere near that place. Kang Jae's dad and his friend are playing cards with a bunch of people and they cheat. They won alot of money in the end. While they were walking away and into the crowd, they spot the group of baddies after them and started running. Kang Jae was slow to react a little and ran last so in the end they managed to corner him and catch him. He threw a flower pot at all the gangster people and tried to fight them but he was badly beaten up instead. While Kang Jae was getting hit, his father was hiding behind some bars and watching him from a distance, The gangsters were asking Kang Jae where his father was and he just kept quiet and got beaten up, then from the corner of his eyes he saw his father escaping and running away from them and he didn't do anything about it.
After that, the gangsters were pulling Kang Jae through this huge crowd of people and suddenly Kang Jae broke free and started pushing and fighting those guys, he used the watermelons and all that. He got away and he ran into the tent of the magician, surprising the magician man, Sun Moo and Danyoung's oppa. He collasped there and then and so they decided to help him and hide him.
The gangster come looking for Kang Jae in the tent and didn't manage to find him. Kang Jae was brought back to their home and he got treated by the magician man (I like him!!) From then on, he sort of lived with them for awhile. Sun Moo doesn't really like Kang Jae that much, Danyoung's oppa is just okay, he's a peaceable guy. Kang Jae brought them shopping and all that and they went to the swimming pool place together.
I forgot what exactly happened after that but DanYoung oppa's metal coin dropped into the pool and they were trying really hard to find it (Sun Moo and him). Kang Jae was just sitting down there watching them. DanYoung's oppa got really tired so he took a rest next to Kang Jae on the chair thingy and Kang Jae asked him about the metal coin thingy. Then DanYoung and her brother's story is told. When they were young children, she and her brother were watching this magician doing tricks and he gave a metal coin to him, and the gold necklace thing to her. (You can fit the coin into the necklace thing)... In the end Sun Moo found the metal coin in the water..
Not sure what's after that but now more on Dan Young...
She's at school dancing with her group of friends, wearing those cute afro wigs. She and her friends went to the hospital and sneaked by the nurse's counter. I'm guessing she's going to visit her sister, Yeon Jin (Uhm Ji Won) and perform for her to surprise her. Her sister's health condition is not very good but anyway, they surprise Yeon Jin and her mother was also shocked and tried to like stop DanYoung and her friends but Yeon Jin told her not to. There's some talking between Dan Young and Yeon Jin after that. They're really really close and you can tell they really like each other alot.
So, for her birthday, Dan Young really wishes to meet her long-separated brother. Her father is quite okay with this but her mother is the one that doesn't really like the idea, so they try to keep it a secret from her.
I think someone called and inform Dan Young's brother that he was invited to his sister's birthday party so Kang Jae, Sun Moo and Dan young's oppa go shopping for a birthday present.
On the day itself, all three guys turned up at the party, its really expensive looking, at a hotel with violin players and all that. Kang Jae goes off walking and exploring by himself while Dan Young's brother contemplates and hesitates about meeting Dan Young. Sun Moo keeps asking him why and persuading him to go ahead and stuff. The brother crys and all that. In the end Sun Moo is carrying the teddy bear (present) and the brother is looking at Dan Young greeting her guests from afar. Sun Moo was like, "Is that her? Wow she's pretty.." The brother turned around to leave and Sun Moo told this waiter guy to pass the teddy bear to to Dan Young, saying that its from Dan Young's oppa.
The two guys go down the stairs and meet Kang Jae there. Kang Jae told them that he's going to meet some friends so Sun Moo and Dan Young's oppa left first, Sun Moo isn't very happy with Kang Jae at this point.
Kang Jae quietly goes into the party and just walks around, observing people. He takes a seat and drinks. When he was about the leave, he noticed the teddy bear left in some corner under the table so he takes it.
Dan Young is crying outside because her brother didn't show up.
Kang Jae enters a lift with a sobbing Dan Young. He asks her which floor and she says executive floor. She puts in the card into the elevator thing for the suite room (Yeon Jin got this room for her earlier) and Kang Jae was like whoa, suite room.. Dan Young was going out of the lift when Kang Jae gave her the teddy bear. She was curious and just thanked him. He asked whether he could go to her room (I'm not sure why he wanted to?) She was thinking for awhile with a confused expression when he wanted to go, she stopped him.....
Episode 2
Two people die in this episode. Dan Young's father and her brother. Dan Young's father was on the way back from meeting with her actual brother and the car had some problems so they stopped by the road. He went out of the car somehow this truck driver knocked him down. When they were at the hospital, Dan Young's mother was questioning the driver. She asked him what happened and the driver told her the truth that the father was actually on the way back from meeting with Dan Young's oppa. The mother (I think initially she doesn't favor DanYoung, and now because of this she dislikes her even more) asks her and sort of blames her I think. When the mother and UJW goes into the emergency room thing to see the father, she doesn't let DanYoung in.
Dan Young keeps crying and UJW keeps comforting her and stuff. In the end I think Dan Young decided to leave her present family, and to look for her brother to live with him or something.
While all this is happening, actually the gangster people caught up with Kang Jae. They had already held Kang Jae's father and the other guy captive and told Kang Jae to bring the money they owe them or else. Anyway, Kang Jae decided to leave the magician's family and he was at the train station or something, then he saw Dan Young's real brother (sorry I really don't know his name haha) and he asked for his help.
Kang Jae was intending to set fire to the warehouse that the gangster people were. So he and the brother poured kerosene all over the place. Kang Jae went in and he held up this envelope supposedly containing money and he held up a lighted lighter, I think signalling to the brother to set fire to the place. But while reaching for the matches/lighter thing, the metal coin drops out of his pocket. The brother goes to retrieve it but got spotted by the gangsters instead. Then the entire place turned chaotic, lotsa fighting and all that and the warehouse caught fire. The brother was knocked unconscious all the while. Anyway, Kang Jae's father and the other guy, they were on chairs with their hands tied behind their backs. They were surrounded by the fire and the other man managed to escaped while Kang Jae's father was still stuck there. Anyway when the brother awoke he started shouting for Kang Jae... The father also shouted for Kang Jae.... In the end Kang Jae saved the father first, and it was too late to save the brother so he was just stuck in the flames, screaming and screaming (this part was kinda sad)... KDW also had tears in his eyes.. MANNNN..
Ok anyway, I think the brother's death is mainly due to Kang Jae's fault..
So after those scenes, they showed the same place, except with the firemen and all that clearing up the scene and it was raining. Sun Moo is picking up the metal coin from the ground where the brother dropped it.
Previously Sun Moo and Kang Jae were not on very good terms and now things just get even worse I guess.
Dan Young is supposed to meet her brother so Sun Moo goes instead. He was waiting for her at the bus depot or something, playing with the metal coin. I think he was intending to tell her that her brother is dead already but too late, when Dan Young saw him, she dropped her suitcase and ran immediately to hug him. And it just ended like that..
Oh the beginning of this episode was really really nice. KDW and KHJ together!!! They were in the suite and KDW was soooo cool. He's mysterious and really slick (like Aramis said), kinda suave. KHJ's just so innocent. They went out to walk together and all that and before their parted for good, Dan Young asked for Kang Jae's name but he didn't say it. So she told him hers instead.. And then he walked away.. |
