Projects by Korean-American director Grace LEE and Taiwanese actor/director LEE Kang-sheng will share the top award bestowed by the 7th Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP).1 |* u3 v' G7 h2 H8 U: m

More important than the awards, the PPP also offered a chance for the selected filmmakers to meet with prospective financiers and buyers from throughout the world to discuss co-operation.

8 e, l8 I5 L W6 ? { The PPP also organized a parallel Industry Center for Asian sales companies, which saw several deals concluded, including the sale of melodrama "A Moment To Remember" to Japan’s Gaga for a record minimum guarantee. Sales agent Catherine PARK of CJ Entertainment noted that the film, which was sold on the basis of a 23-minute highlight reel, is based on a Japanese TV drama.

$ W. U. G& |8 n9 o Celestial Pictures and Mei Ah Entertainment of Hong Kong also reported deals of unspecified titles, including a 30-title package deal to Korea by Mei Ah.
