About 1000 participants from 30 countries took part in the three-day event, with over 550 official meetings set up by PPP organizers. More important than the awards, the PPP also offered a chance for the selected filmmakers to meet with prospective financiers and buyers from throughout the world to discuss co-operation.

The PPP also organized a parallel Industry Center for Asian sales companies, which saw several deals concluded, including the sale of melodrama "A Moment To Remember" to Japan’s Gaga for a record minimum guarantee. Sales agent Catherine PARK of CJ Entertainment noted that the film, which was sold on the basis of a 23-minute highlight reel, is based on a Japanese TV drama.+ ~2 i: c' O: L6 t/ Z; J5 {1 W9 I5 Z
