[스포츠서울] 지난달 29일 늦은 밤 서울 청담사거리에 인파가 모여들어 북적거렸다. 불이라도 난 것일까. 아니었다. 불구경보다 더 재미있다는 드라마 촬영 때문이었다. 올 상반기 최고의 화제작이었던 ‘봄의 왈츠’를 따돌리고 월화 드라마 최강자로 자리잡은 MBC ‘넌 어느 별에서 왔니’의 촬영현장. 걸음을 멈춘 행인들은 브라운관에서나 볼 수 있었던 김래원과 정려원 강정화 등 연기자들의 생생한 연기를 드라마보다 더 재미있게 지켜봤다. 이날 촬영은 김래원과 강정화가 술에 취한 박시후를 택시에 태워보내고 거리를 걸으며 대화를 나누는 장면이었다. 그동안 서울과 강원도를 오가며 피로가 쌓인 연기자들과 제작진은 이번엔 꽃샘 추위의 매서움을 맛봐야 했다. 살을 에는 한파로 언 손을 녹이거나 발을 동동 구르며 추위와 싸웠다. 스타일리스트들은 ‘컷’소리가 나기 무섭게 점퍼를 들고 연기자들에게 달려갔다. 촬영에 몰입해 추위를 잊을 무렵, 이번엔 구경꾼 통제가 어려워졌다. 일부 ‘관객’은 비명을 지르거나 카메라 플래시를 터트려 촬영을 더디게 만들었다. 스타들을 보기 위해 연예기획사가 많은 청담사거리를 찾은 중국과 일본 관광객들도 모여들었다. 지나가던 일부 차량이 일부러 경적을 심하게 울리거나 엔진 굉음을 내 촬영에 방해가 되기도 했다. 한 주민이 드라마 촬영 사실을 모르고 동네가 소란스러워졌다고 경찰서에 신고해 순찰차가 출동하는 촌극마저 벌어졌다. 그러나 정작 제작진이 무릎을 꿇도록 한 것은 소나기였다. 갖은 어려움 끝에 촬영이 마무리될 때쯤 갑자기 소나기가 쏟아져 촬영을 중단할 수밖에 없었다. 계속된 고충으로 짜증날 법도 했지만 표민수 PD와 연기자들은 상승하는 시청률 때문인지 소나기가 멈추기를 기다리는 여유를 보였다. dica@

Last month on 29th, the Chungdam intersection, Seoul was quite bustling even at night. Is there a fire? Nope. It was because of the drama shooting, which was thought to be more interesting than watching a fire. It was the shooting spot for the MBC drama ‘Which planet r u from’, which becomes the most popular drama of Mon-Tue dramas. Many pedestrians stopped walking and watched every single movement of KRW, JRW, and Kang Jung-hwa curiously.
The scene of the day was that KRW and Kang Jung-hwa talked to each other after sending drunk Park Shi-hoo to his home by taxi. The actors and staff members who were weary because of the shooting having done back and forth between Seoul and Kangwon Province had to suffer from the chill wind in the early spring. They tried to stamp their feet to keep warm. The stylists ran to actors with jackets to keep them warm right after the sound ‘Cut’. After a while, everybody was into shooting so they seemed to forget the cold, but now they had to control the bystanders.
Some ‘bystanders’ shrieked and took a picture with a flash, which made the shooting slow.
There were some Chinese and Japanese sightseers who came to Korea to see the stars. The staff members had to overcome several obstacles. One was caused by some cars honking loudly on purpose, and the other was one neighbor who called the police because of the noise, not knowing the fact that the drama shooting was going on. But the worst setback was a shower. When they almost finished shooting, they had a shower so they had to stop shooting. In spite of all the setbacks, the producer Pyo Min-soo and the actors looked quite calm. Possibly, they were happy that the ratings were going up. |
