[25 May 07] Rain "Sydney concert failure"
[25 May 07] Rain "Sydney concert failure, I learnt a lot through trial and error"
Regarding the appraisals that Rain's 8th world tour country, Australia's Sydney concert was a failure, Rain demonstrated a mature approach by stating "I learnt a lot through the Australian concert".
Rain stated this during a press conference at the Tokyo Dome hotel on the 24th at 4:00pm at Fergasus (?) hall. At this press conference, StarM's Lee In Gwang who is currently managing Rain's world tour and JYP Entertainment's Hong Seong Sung was also attending.
During this press conference Lee In Gwang stated straightforwardly "I think that this Sydney concert was a failure" and "It was not thoroughly prepared and organized properly and it was enforced without a sufficient amount of consultation with their part. It was a great time of reflection."
Accordingly Rain stated "I think there is always trial and error" and "In the past I have held many concerts with a minimum of 4000 seats and now I am able to hold a standard concert of 20,000. I think that is due to a lot of trial and error".
He also stated "Although thankfully, it went as well as we could expect, there were many inadequate and insufficient aspects of the Sydney concert due to a lack of communication not with our staff, but with the third party. Using this as a foundation, I leant many things".
Meanwhile Rain as the first Korean artist ever held a concert at the Tokyo Dome on the 25th at 7:00pm under the title 'Rain World Tour in Tokyo'.
