下午2:00开始，影迷都在等金廷恩，会场的侧门忽然一阵骚动。惊讶的 ...
我覺得我翻得不是很好,貼上在金廷恩中文網jolene的英文版生日派對報導..我翻的部份用紅字表示.
Part I
This is my first trip to Korea but my second time to see Kim Jung Eun. Last time, it was last September in Hanan, China, when she was filming "Lovers". I didn't do an English summary then, in order to make up for it, I decided to write a detailed account of what I see and hear ( I didn't understand most of what was said, because it's all in Korean) during the B-party, so the englishspeaking fans could have a better feel of what was going on.
At around 11:30 AM on a fine Sunday, we, the foreign fans, met at a subway station exit and walked together to the Mini University Theatre where the party would start at 2:00 PM. Those who would sing for the program would go in to walk through the music and the rest just waited at a restaurant.
I was impressed with the meticulous detailed organization ability of her cafe admins. It seemed that all the minute things were taken into consideration, no wonder they have all the trust of Kim Jung Eun. We were given name tags outside the theatre with our names on it, different groups such as foreign fans, the cafe nuguri and the admins themselves had different pictures of Kje on the name tags. We were asked to stand in line according to our seats by rows, and hehe ~~ we foreign fans were lucky to take the first row. By 1:00 o'clock sharp, we finally got to enter and proceed to our designated seats.
The admins and the nuguri helpers were running around busying themselves, orchestrating the final touch-ups. We were excited before the clock finally strike 2:00 PM.
Part II
It seemed the star of the event was finally making way through the side door. But to our amazement, instead of Kje appearing in front of our eyes, it was I Seo Jin slowy walking in towards us, he was all smiles, but a little stiff and shy, I don't know about the others, but I was shocked, and screams were everywhere ^^ although I had a feeling deep down that I would somehow see him on that important day, and we were even joking among us of the possibility, but seeing him with our own eyes was just too shocking.
He was a little shy and tense the way he hold the microphone and spoke, thanks to amy, I had a gist of what he was saying, I think he thanked us, the fans for coming to celebrate Kje's birthday, and he said that he had missed a couple of opportunities to work with her, and this time they finally got to work in "LOVERS" and it was a very enjoyable and happy experience for him and he loved it. Then he introduced Kje who also walks in from where ISJ came in, all shy and laughing.~~ I think Kje thanked him and he left, although seemed a little unwillingly to me hehe ^^
The admins brought in a birthday cake and Kje blew the candles and was presented with a book which has pictures and messages from those that attended.
Part III
After we sang the birthday song, Kje was presented with a power point slide show with background music and memorable pictures of hers from all these years. I guessed she was moved by the touching music and started to shed tears, the thoughtful admins ran towards her to give her a tissue paper, and while she was wiping tears, once again Mr. Surprise came back with a bouquet of flowers. I think Kje didn't expect to see him again and was taken by surprise, anyone who has seen the clip knows what I mean. she ducked her body so low that it was almost under the table and she keeps laughing, he presented her the flowers,and after that I think the 2 were in a somewhat awkward situation, not knowing what to say and do, the cafe admin handed him a microphone, he said something and Kje thanked him again, and this time he left for good!
The next part was a question and answer thing, Kje seemed to back to herself and starting talking extensively, and in between, some nuguri also popped up some random questions at her. I hope I understood what was said there, but not knowing the language, I concentrated on her body movements, cute expressions and her pretty outfit KKkkk....
Part IV
The performance section started off with the 1st group of nuguri doing a re-enactment of different scenes of "Lovers" and "Lovers in Paris", they were testing if she remembers her lines, it seemed to be a funny show because when we were waiting for our singing program, we heard laughters out there ^^ I realized that I had lost my voice because I was screaming when ISJ appeared, but I had to go out there anyways because our time was up. I could not say that I was nervous, but it seemed that I did everything by rote, not thinking much of what I was singing. During our performance, Kje was helping us with the beat and seemed to move her body too at the fast part so we too could be more lively. After we sang, joyce heard her say "excellent" when she approached us, hahaha I know she is just being courteous, joyce and amy did well, i know i had a raspy voice KKKkk...the cafe admin introduced us, Kje knows amy and started talking to her in Korean which I do not understand, she went towards joyce and greeted her. To my surprise she walked towards me and said to me in english "Cecilia I know you,we met in Hainan, do u still remember me?" she was being funny here, it should be the other way around, i should be the one asking her that, I was nervous then and do not know what to say and I said something very fast like, "yeah in Hainan, I'm so glad to see u again, time goes by so fast, happy birthday blah blah..." then she walked away turned to the audience and said a bunch of things, all I could hear is my name, Hainan, later I learned from amy that she was telling the nuguri I was in Hainan watch her film "Lovers" and followed her everyday, bringing her food and water, but ignoring I Seo Jin and Jung Chan which made them very jealous. I think the nuguri laughed at that part. I must admit that I felt guilty knowing that she said that, because I did not do any of the things that she said,I left very early on the 5th day of her 2 weeks filming. But one thing that touches me greatly was I learned from one of the girls that stayed behind that Kje asked where I went on the day that I left and when she told her that I had gone home, she made a crying face.
She is too nice to her fans, her sincerity, gentle, amicable personality deeply touches and moves me, I felt it in Hainan and again very much so this time. By the way, I'm really proud of her english, after the group picture taking, she was speaking mostly in english, she can carry a good conversation. When she was browsing through the photo album that the bbs presented to her, when she said california, and I asked her if she had been to the U.S. she said she had come once to Michigan, but that was a long long time ago, all through the conversation, she uses phrases with good pronunciation. At one point she said " I do not like my short hair, it does not look good, I cried when they cut it..." I told her that it looks good on her and she said that her hair makes her look like a lego head, but I said "you're very beautiful" in Korean and she is all happy and said "thank-u cecilia". I have a feeling that she really likes to be praised and wants reassurances... Hehe ~~
One thing I want to mention was when I asked her how come she is so skinny after this long rest, she was very cute here and gave a mischievous expression, she shook her index finger, shake her head and said "no, I'm not skinny, you don't know me...." pointing at her tummy and we all laughed !!~~ she is really too cute sometimes in her reply and I'm really proud of her, of all the Koreans who we ran into asking directions and talked to, even younger generations, Kje had the best spoken english~~ Hahaha ^^ because most of the time she uses her native language, so when I hear her speak in english, it's like music to my ears and they are imprinted in my mind *^^*

The program ran a little more than 3 hours and to top it off, she gave all of us a big hug and again she said to me "thank-you so much cecilia" and that's how nice a person she is and those that had met her would agree with me, she is beaufiful inside and out, a very special person indeed. I have seen her twice, once in the very hot Hainan, and this time in the very cold Korea, the extreme weather conditions and 2 very different countries, but I must say one thing remains the same and that's our beloved Kje who is always so lovely, warm, friendly and nice. I'm sure all that had met her can testify to that. Both trips had been unforgettable and the vivid chapters will remain in my memory forever. I should thank everyone whom I met during these 2 trips, they had been tremendous help and support and those people will be treasured in my memory too, I especially want to thank our lovely joyce (tenkaichi) who stayed with me the whole time in Korea and she had been a great guide and company to me, she is just a wonderful person *^^* |
