SPOILERS FOR EPISODES 16 AND 17!!! (VERY BRIEF THOUGH)
MR sees CH and goes to her, tries to talk to her and get her back, but she tells him that the guy that works for (the one that was at the station) is her new boyfriend and that she loves him. MR doesn't believer her, but the employee, having heard about MR here and there from CH, guesses who he is, and plays along for CH's sake. he plants a kiss on her and reluctantly, MR lets CH go. Then, she goes to HD and tells him the same thing and that she will never go back to him. The next day, CH tries to escape the two guys again and tries to aboard a flight to Europe. HD's worker (the agent man) stops her and once again, CH finds herself running away from both men once more . She runs away to that hal muh nee's house and just chills around there.
Episode 17
CH's worker hears about the details of MR and CH's story, and about how CH left him to save him and tells MR where CH is at. MR goes to the hal muh nee's house to find CH and he as well learns the truth as to wh CH left him earlier. MR swears that he'll never forgive HD, but HD starts to threaten MR and starts doing bad things to him to make him almost lose his job. once again, HD threatens to publicize the footage of MR supposedly molesting the woman and CH tells him she'll do whatever it takes to stop him (again!). at this point, CH's worker guy, Dong Su, shows up and realizes what a bad guy HD is. HD, feeling threatened that Dong Su knows what he's been doing to manipulate MR and CH's relationship, starts fighting Dong Su (or something like that. there's a fight though and they all beat up on Dong Su). In the brawl, HD drops a diary/booklet type thing that has all his transactions, secret deals, illegal dealings, business frauds, etc. written in it. CH retrieves it and the tables are turned . Ch trades the tape for the diary on the condition that she leaves Korea and never comes back again ( so for HD, it's basically the concept of "if i can't have you, nobody can have you ."). she agrees and without telling MR, she tries to leave but is stopped at the airport because she has been banned from leaving the country. She is taken away by the FBI and is brought into a questioning room. MR comes in, saying that she has been detained and arrested for "stealing MR's heart" and for her punishment, she has to "live as MR's wife for the rest of her life
