렉스는 최사장에게 프라이드에서 나가겠다고 하고, 최사장은 전 앨범의 저작권을
다 넘겨야 한다고 하지만 결심을 굳힌 렉스는 담담하게 그렇게 하라고 한다. 혁주는
최사장에게 희수와 다시 사귄다고 알리고, 예상과는 달리 최사장은 순순히 좋도록
하라며 두번째 자신에게 빚졌다는 걸 기억해 두도록 하라고 말한다. 혁주와 희수는
손잡고 밤길을 걷고, 야구연습장에 도착한 두 사람은 사이좋게 야구공을 친다. 혁주
에게 휴대폰을 전해주러 왔던 상미는 굳은채 그 모습을 보다 가버린다.
혁주는 상미가 렉스를 따라 프라이드에서 나갔다는 말에 놀라고, 상미를 찾아간 혁
주는 왜 미리 이야기 안했냐고 묻는다. 상미는 다시는 혁주를 안보겠다고 하고, 그
때 렉스가 차에서 내린다. 혁주는 상미와 바닷가에서 함께 찍은 사진들을 바라보며
예전 생각에 잠기고, 희수에게서 온 문자를 확인하다 상미가 보낸 문자들을 본다. 상
현은 사표를 내고 렉스를 돕기로 하고, 렉스는 새로운 회사와 계약한다. 렉스는 상미
에게 온 혁주의 문자를 지워버리고, 상미는 왜 그랬냐며 렉스에게 화를 낸다.
Rex tells Choi Sajang (Pride's boss) that he's going to leave Pride. Choi Sajang tells Rex then he would have to give all the copyright material over to Pride, but Rex is determined to carry out his decision. HyukJoo alerts Choi Sajang that he is dating HeeSoo again, and contrary to his previous opinion, Choi Sajang accepts it w/ a happy attitude but reminds HyukJoo that he is now indebted to him twice. HyukJoo and HeeSoo walks hand in hand on the street at night and they go to the batting cages where they both hit the baseballs happily. As SangMi goes to HyukJoo to return his cell phone, she gets upset and leaves.
As HyukJoo finds out that SangMi left Pride with Rex, he meets SangMi and asks her why she didn't tell him she was leaving sooner. SangMi tells HyukJoo that she's no longer going to see him, and at that moment Rex gets out of his car. HyukJoo reminesces on all the memories with SangMi as he looks through the photos that were taken of them at the beach, and as he checks the text messages that were sent from HeeSoo, he finds SangMi's texts as well. SangHyun (Gangster's current manager) quits the Pride Co. and goes to help Rex, and Rex signs a new contract with a new company. Rex erases the text messages that HyukJoo sent SangMi, when SangMi finds out she asks Rex why he did that and is angry.

공연을 마친 혁주는 아버지가 쓰러졌다는 소식을 듣고 급히 병원으로 가고, TV를 보
다가 그 사실을 알게 된 상미는 멍해진다. 취재진들로 정신없는 장례식장에서 혁주
는 굳은채 갱스터 멤버들을 맞는다. 최사장은 희수에게 문상만 하고 가라 하지만 희
수는 좀 있다 갈거라며 음식 나르는 등 열심히 일한다. 상미는 혁주에게 가보겠다고
하고, 렉스는 자신이 태워다 주겠다고 하며 따라 나선다. 걱정 가득한 표정으로 들어
서던 상미는 취재진들에게 막혀 들어오지 못하고, 자신을 보던 혁주와 눈이 마주친
다.
밖으로 나온 희수는 렉스와 마주치고, 혁주와 상미가 많이 친했나보다며 서운함을
드러낸다. 상미가 간 후 혁주는 영달에게 상미가 자꾸 눈에 밟힌다며 어떡하냐고 하
고, 하지만 희수를 힘들게 할 수 없다고 다짐한다. 렉스의 싱글발표회날, 기자들이
많이 오지 않아 렉스는 당황하고, 상현은 최사장이 손을 쓴것 같다며 쉽지 않다 한
다. 혁주는 아버지가 잠들어 있는 나무 앞에 서서 아버지의 노래를 듣다 흐느끼기 시
작한다. 그곳을 찾아온 상미는 혁주와 나무에 기대 앉아 이야기 나눈다.
After finishing his performance, HyukJoo finds out that his father collapsed and rushes to the hospital. Learning this information through the television, SangMi is very shocked. As there is alot of press at the funeral home, HyukJoo is busy and doesn't know what to think, but at the funeral home he meets his Gangster members. Choi SaJang tells HeeSoo to just console and leave, but HeeSoo says she's going to help and dilegently helps set the food. As SangMi says she's going to go see HyukJoo, Rex says he'll drive her. As SangMi holds alot of worries and concern in her expression, she cannot come into the funeral home as the place is crowded with press. But HyukJoo and SangMi's eyes meet.
As HeeSoo is able to get outside, she meets Rex, and gets a little disappointed as she realizes that SangMi and HyukJoo were really close. After SangMi leaves, HyukJoo confesses to YangDal that he always sees SangMi in the corner of his eye and doesn't know what to do about it, but then concludes that he cannot give HeeSoo a hard time. On the day of Rex's single release, he is upset that alot of reporters did not show, SangHyun--his manager, says it's going to be a rough ride b/c it seems that Choi Sajang has some connections with the press and the music industry. As HyukJoo goes to the tree in front of where his dad is burried, he starts to be sorrowful as he listens to his dad's song. SangMi finds where HyukJoo and hugs him and leans against the tree and share a story. |
