South Korean TV stars in town to film drama under Tourism Board scheme

Fans of South Korean dramas may be able to see Singapore landmarks in a new television series.
A South Korean television crew is now here to film part of a drama series under a scheme by the Singapore Tourism Board to develop the film industry.
The TV show features boy-band, Shinhwa, who has been filming at various locations over the last five days.
These include Takashimaya and the Asian Civilisation Museum.
The series is by South Korean producer, Kim Yun Cheul, who produced the drama series, "My Lovely Samson".
STB says so far 10 projects have been filmed in Singapore as part of its "Film in Singapore!" scheme. - CNA/ch

Que Sera Sera is a highly anticipated Korean television series produced by Mr Kim Yun Cheul, the acclaimed producer of the Korean hit drama series, My Lovely Samsoon. Released on 17 March 07, the drama will be broadcast until 6 May 07 on South Korea’s Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), one of the major TV stations in Korea. Viewers can catch a 70-minute episode of the series on prime time on Saturday and Sunday, from 9.55pm – 11.05pm. Past episodes will also be aired on IMBC.com and MBC drama cable TV channel.
Que Sera Sera in Uniquely Singapore
Approximately three episodes of the 16-episode television series has been filmed in Singapore over five days, amounting to at least 80 minutes of screen time set in Singapore. The series demanded a modern cosmopolitan look, so Singapore, a dynamic city rich in contrast and colour and beautiful landscape suited the story line perfectly. The locations that have been featured are Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore; the Cartier boutique at Takashimaya S.C.; The Scarlet Hotel; IndoChine Waterfront at Empress Place; Asian Civilisations Museum along the Singapore River; Changi Airport; Little India and Stamford House.
Two separate sequences of this drama have been filmed in Singapore. One of them shows Singapore as the location for a business trip where all four leading stars travel to attend a fashion show. The second sequence, filmed mostly at Shangri La’s Rasa Sentosa on Sentosa Island, is the setting for one of the leading couples on vacation.
Through Que Sera Sera, Korean audiences would be treated to a showcase of the unique and premium locales of Singapore.
Series Synopsis
This drama revolves around the lives of four young people. Han Eun Soo (played by Jung Yoo Mi), a cheerful and simple girl from the countryside, comes to Seoul to look for her brother. She starts work as a salesgirl at The Palace department store and is soon promoted to be a purchaser. She catches the attention of two men, Kang Tae Joo (played by Eric Mun) and Shin Joon Hyuk (played by Lee Kyu Han).
Kang Tae Joo, who is the main actor of this drama, is a confident and ambitious man. He is the manager at the department store. He falls in love with Eun Soo but wants to marry the daughter of the owner of the department store, Cha Hye Ryon (played by Yoon Ji Hye), to further his career. Hye Ryon’s parents, however, want her to marry the Managing Director of the department store, Joon Hyuk.
Tae Joo eventually realises his true love for Eun Soo. However, Tae Joo’s mother and Eun Soo’s father had been in a relationship prior to their own marriages. This poses problems for the young couple. Eventually, they must confront the problems and overcome them to be together.
