Empire of Gold Episode 18 Review: Son Hyun Joo Cries As Jung Han Yong Goes to Jail for Him

In Empire of Gold, episode 18, Choi Min Jae(played by Son Hyun Joo) cried as his father Choi Dong Jin(played by Jung Han Yong) went to jail for him.
As Min Jae was in a crisis of going to jail, Dong Jin came and told him that he will go for him. Min Jae was surprised and said, “This is not an ordinary crime to be in jail for one or two years.”
Dong Jin said, “I hate you. It was hard for me to look at your face. You fell into the hell I made. I thought being rich is to build huge buildings and own lots of them.” He continued, “I’ve been to jail three times for my brother. I can do that one more time for my son.”
Min Jae cried.

In Empire of Gold, episode 18, Jang Tae Joo(played by Go Soo) told Yoon Sul Hee(played by Jang Shin Young) that they will be together forever.
Sul Hee finally was released from prison. Tae Joo said to her, “You smudged your own hands with blood which was on mine. I’m going to clean the blood for you forever.”
Sul Hee said, “Do you sleep well? Do you eat well? There were only two things I could do in prison: eating and thinking. I thought about this. That you would feel like you’re locked in jail like me. In the prison of Sungjin family. I wanted to bail you out, Tae Joo.”
