[News] 'TWSSG' Fund, earned 20% besides principal
[Earning rate is likely higher, taking into consideration of profit to occur in Japan from now on]
The 'TWSSG Fund' has completed recovering its principal in 2 years after its establishment and is expecting pretty good additional earning.
'Seoul TSG Samo Special Asset 1' fund, managed by Yujin Asset Management(previous Seoul Asset Management), is recording accumulated profit rate at around 34% as of end of April in 2 years its establishment. Considering that actual investment was excuted in the end of last year, it is an outstanding result compared to period (of investment).
Although it already harvested result exceeding 'annual 10%+α', target profit rate , final profit rate is expected to become higher as they can get paid profit that will occur in Japan from now on. Key East, a Kosdaque registered company, where BYJ is the major stock holder, als had invested 1.5 billion won to this fund, and got paid dividend amounting to 20% of invested money along with principal.
An official at the Key East told, "We had invested seeing possibility of success of a content where actor in our agency as well as the largest stock holder appeared in," and "We already recovered the principal, and are expecting additional profit from broadcasting it in Japan from now on.
◇'Killer content' can make money…It is a must to have plan to assure profit
The industry evaluate the success of the 'TWSSG Fund' as an encouraging case example. It is because that production company can raise capital if it can prove its profitability even for the work that costs large scale production expense, and investors are able to intest in highly profitable contents that is ensured of 'safety valve'.
A person in a film investing company evaluated, "For the customary practice of the industry which is highly uncertain and where money management is not transparent, when a fund invests, a structure of guaranteeing the principal and interest and earning additional profit is proper," and "The 'TWSSG' is a case example where profitability was high as there was a killer content of BYJ."
