+ i' P- ?9 ~- E& M7 ~KRW, as HHH in "Doctors", is a mesmerizing character. It is hard not to fall for his maturity, his warm and shy smile and sincere eyes. On 10 Oct, KRW held his Malaysia fanmeet and was overwhelmed by the fans' passionate response, which changed his mindset.

, v; r q3 S4 @; C2 F8 kIt's rare to find KRW besides seeing him in his dramas, as he does not have social media and seldom appear on variety shows. Even fan meet in Korea is very little. On this, KRW laughed and said he wanted to have some secrecy. "Unless there is a valid reason to go out, if not I do not like to attend non-work related activities./ ?# y+ {% q: g3 `+ E' W# s
I hope to only let people know me through my shows." However, after the fanmeet in Malaysia, which left a deep impression on him, he's now having second thoughts.

KRW laughed and said "After the Malaysia fanmeet, it changed my perspective. I did not know I actually have the charisma of an idol. Was Worried He Might Not be Able to Portray 'Hong Ji Hong' Well

; y* A' T" I# P- m8 s5 ?4 `KRW's popularity rose due to 'Hong Ji Hong', it is not hard to believe Kdrama fans are attracted to Oppa's charisma. Especially the teacher/student relationship between KRW and Park Shin Hye left many people are wondering "how come I do not have such a warm male teacher when i was in school?" HJH was even named as "extinct good guy". When asked if KRW is as gentle, humourous and warm as HJH during a relationship, KRW paused and laughed: "It's a secret!" + Y6 D( y1 g y- y

As compared to the sunshine HJH, KRW is a serious, honest, hardworking man. KRW's past characters were usually more serious and dark, so when he took up the role of HJH, he was afraid he might not do well but people beside him have been telling him he was cute and that made him more relieved.

% J2 h% r, e+ OIn <Doctors>, there were many mushy lines; when asked if KRW is also so direct in expressing his love, he shook his head and said he's the complete opposite in real life. When asked which was his most memorable lines, he shyly said: "Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend? (no) Then good!" He revealed that he changed the lines to make it sound more natural and was glad the response was good. (While saying this, he had a confident expression )

The initial design of HJH was a 'long-legged ahjussi", having a very man voice and at times having a 180 degrees change in tone to say some lines in a naughty/playful manner. KRW revealed "Actually, that was because I felt too awkward and my tone changed."

' l( z/ n9 s1 O( z2 v" QKRW further added on "From what I know, there is no man in Korea having such idol-drama-like romance, this is all based on the scriptwriter's imagination. Believe me, I can bet there is no such man existing in the world."

Even though my love for them is not as great as acting, but I have started these hobbies since many years ago. So when I go overseas, I would also go fishing at seaside and I love to spend my time at sea/beach."

On future plans, KRW revealed that the director of <Love Story in Harvard> did contact him to film a romance-theme drama but he rejected him nicely as he only wanted to recharge himself after the busy filming of ,Doctors>. + ~, H! c( H) E/ h8 e3 X9 c
# R8 { J# p9 K" v5 I THe's been busy filming movies and dramas from 2015 to 2016 without any breaks. "Right now, I only want to catch a big fish!" "I heard Malaysia has quite a few hot spots for fishing, and golf courses too. If only I could extend my stay here, I would be able to relax and enjoy."
