09/03/07 Rain : unexpected appearance on the street of Saigon
On the night of the 9th March, Rain, his dancers and some of the staff unexpectely appeared on the Thi Sách, quận 1 (TP.HCM) [a street ~~]. They went to a restaurant near his hotel (New World) to eat.
A bit shy in front of fans
PV Tuổi Trẻ Ä‘ã -- (I guess it's a TV program) had already arrived at the place at around 18h00 PM. Rain, meanwhile was having his super in the restaurant, many fans had gathered outside of the restaurant. At around pass 19h00, Rain came out and fans immediately took off their mobiles and cheered for him.
A fan said : "Rain, in real life, is really ordinary/simple" (I think here, she meant that he is humble, not pulling any air.... ). He was wearing a sport outfit with a cap. He looked shy in front of the many fans that were trying to take pictures of him. After he got in the car, they went straight to rehearse for the concert.
On the 8th March [the day before], he requested to try seafood at another restaurant. After he was done, Rain said he really liked it (aigoo ~~ he really lives for food )
During the first two days in VN (the 8th & the 9th March), Rain constantly rehearsed for the upcoming concerts until 22h00 (aww ~~ ). The dancers, on the other side, after a tiring day rehearsing, they usually went back to the hotel and then went for a walk in the streets and tried the foods. (VN is a well known country for their 'night markets'. During the day, there are only few people that go shopping/eat/etc. because the wheather is really hot. However, at night, the streets are all crowded and the shops/restaurants are opened until very late ~~ The atmosphere is really cool and relaxing -- I guess they are having lotsa fun there ! ).
One thing already done for the first concert on the 10th March
One the night of the 10th March, Rain will perform in front of around 20 000 fans. The concert will last for at least 2 hours. He will sing 21 songs ; I'm Coming, In my bed, With You, Touch Ya, I Do, It's Raining, Friends, Why of All Things, Handshake, Don't Stop, etc. Especially with the song "Friends", Rain would like to share with his fans, the suffering of the victims of AIDS. (and blabla -- they are talking about him as the ambassador of World Vision, I'm too lazy to translate that part...sowy...)
The stage will be equiped with 5 big main LED screens and two 300 inches screens on both side so that wherever fans are sitting, they can still see Rain's performance as well as the dancers. Also, there are around 600 bodyguards ( ) that have been trained since the first March. They will check tickets and assured the security on both nights. Morever, around 60 fans from Rain's fanclub in VN have volunteered to help organizing the events, guiding the overseas fans, booking hotel, buying tickets, etc.
