South Korean idol "Rain" has postponed his concert scheduled for February following fatal bombing attacks in the New Year's Eve.
"As eight bombs explored in Bangkok on New Year Eve, Korean pop Rain or Jung Ji Hoon will not hold the concert firstly scheduled on February 3 at Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani," the concert promoters RK Media Holding and SR2 Entertainment announced Tuesday.
"We concern about Rain's security. We're apologise for this cancellation," added the promoter.
The concert will postpone to June. On Tuesday afternoon the organisers including Korean Embassy, will discuss about the date, time and place as well as refund tickets.
They will host the press conference on Wednesday at 2pm at Discovery Club's meeting room, 3rd floor, Siam Discovery Centre.
Thailand's Bangkok show is one of 12 countries of Rain World Tour for promoting his latest album "Rain's World". The upcoming show is his second concert in Thailand.
Rain is widely known from his previous albums' hits "I Do", "It's Raining", "Sad Tango", "Free Way" and "Move On" and his leading role in the Korean TV series "Full House." His latest album, "Rain's World" was released last year in Asia.
