Korean Sex Romp 펜트하우스 코끼리 (Searching for the Elephant) Unveils Teaser

Hmm... sex with a gas mask on. Is that a thinly-veiled commentary on candle-light demonstrations?
Not likely, but what 펜트하우스 코끼리 (Searching for the Elephant) is likely to feature in copious amounts is sex and decadence, at least based on its teaser. The film stars Jang Hyuk, Jo Dong-Hyuk and Lee Sang-Woo as a trio of longtime friends whose "dirty secrets" slowly start to emerge and, sure enough, create some headaches. More than the male cast (only Jang has real potential), what stands out is their female counterparts, featuring some of the most interesting young talent on the scene, from Lee Min-Jung - who gained stardom with 꽃보다 남자 (Boys Over Flowers), but had been one of Korea's best kept secret ever since her 베스트극장 (Best Theater) days, years ago - to Hwangwoo Seul-Hye of 미쓰 홍당무 (Crush & Blush) and Jeon Se-Hong of 실종 (Missing), not to mention being the very last project of the late Jang Ja-Yeon - who committed suicide earlier this year.
Finecut's Searching for the Elephant is the debut film of Jeong Seung-Gu, who previously worked on 추격자 (The Chaser) as part of the production team. Participation in great works doesn't necessarily suggest talent, but as far as credentials go, you could do a lot worse. Film releases in October.
