“The Song Tae-Ha who, all this time, knows nothing but taking orders, will from now on start to carve his own way in the world.” Oh Ji-Ho says of the change which can be expected of his Chuno character Song Tae-Ha.
“There’s a lot of stories to be told in the remaining 6 episodes. A lot of changes.”

“Tae-Ha is a man who staked his life on protecting and supporting the ruler. However things did not go as he’d hoped; in the process he loses the superior whom his must obey and he suffers a state of great confusion mentally. Furthermore, as a yangban who descends into slavery, he hovers between the boundaries of the nobles and the means (반상). Not once has he given a thought to life as a slave, yet he was made one. He’s also just been shattered by the discovery that the woman he loves was a slave. But because of that, his outlook will broaden. After surviving the brush with death that aired on Mar 4, Tae-Ha is now setting out to change the world.”
But will the main characters of Chuno really change the world?
“It would be great if (the world) changes. The series illuminates the lives of people as it was in that period of time, while also shedding light on the struggles of those who tried to break down status barriers. Right now though, the characters who are attempting to change the world are all dying off one by one, so we don’t know what’s going to happen (laughs). But Tae-Ha, Dae-Gil, Jjakgwi and the rest, who have stood in opposition to each other up to this point, will now unite their strengths into one. So instead of being action-driven, the stories that unfold will be more about emotions getting sorted out.”
