“I was able to portray Dae-Gil’s bottomless stare thanks to having actually having experienced a one-sided love for ten years.” Jang Hyeok explains that his natural delivery comes from understanding Dae-Gil’s mind and empathizing with the character. As for his “secret crush” -- it was back in elementary school, and she was the pretty little girl cum top student assigned to sit next to him in class.
Jang Hyeok also added that when he made his debut in 1997, he was in high spirits when told that he resembled icon Jeong U-Seong, but as an actor he did not benefit from his good looks.
“我能够呈现大吉那种把人看穿的演技(像无底洞似的盯着别人看)归功于十年单恋的實際经验。” 張赫解释說，他的自然表达來自於对大吉的内心世界的理解和对这个角色的同理心。至於他的“暗戀” – 是发生在小學，她是个在課堂里分配到坐在他旁邊的可愛小女生，也是个顶尖的學生。
張赫還補充說，當他在1997年首次在银光幕前亮相时，他被說长得像名演员鄭宇盛时，他非常高兴。但作為一名演員，他並沒有因为他的俊美的长相得到任何好处。

18일 방송될 ‘추노’의 22회 방송에는 동행을 하며 서로에게 점점 동료애를 느끼는 대길(장혁 분)과 태하(오지호 분)의 모습이 냉철한 추격자 철웅(이종혁 분)의 모습과 대비되며 긴장감을 더했다.
"In Episode 22 (Mar 18), as they company one another (on their journey), Dae-Gil and Tae-Ha come to feel more and more camaraderie for each other. This makes a striking contrast with the cold dispassion of the pursuer Hwang Cheol-Ung."
Notes: I love the way they described the warm spirit of comradeship -- “동료애 / dongryo-ae” or, literally, “love between colleagues” :-)
Also I think I just might be able to stop myself from crying out to the cosmos if and when Song Tae-Ha, God love him, says bye-bye at heaven’s door. (That’s a vicious lie, by the way.) Seems that Oh Ji-Ho is already receiving many offers for new projects. He’s carefully considering them and will likely pick a contemporary drama next.
