While his costars were having fun in Jebudo, Park Shi Hoo was pleasing Japanese fans in Seoul in a fan meeting on May 22. There wasn’t a huge turnout, because despite his popularity I think it’s safe to say that with Prosecutor Princess his star power is only rising. He hasn’t hit full blown popularity just yet. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the homey atmosphere as he interacted with all the fans, played games with them, sang a song, and treated them all to rice balls. That’s sweet.
He expressed his thoughts on the end of Prosecutor Princess as well.
Park expressed some sadness at how short the drama ended up being, because he wished for an extension to the 16-episode drama. (Don’t we all…) He says that he’s feeling as though he is lacking something now with the end, but hopes to appear in another drama for the fans soon.
He also mentioned his favorite scene… and it was the kiss scene! Although there were two kiss scenes, he mentioned that this one took 15 takes for the angles and there wasn’t a single NG (aw – you two are such pros!), so I think he was talking about the first kiss that he and Kim So Yeon had in the end of episode 7. BUT if it weren’t for the kiss, his other favorite scene was catching Kim’s character Ma Hye Ri in the airport. (Do I sense a pattern here? Did he just really enjoy filming with Kim So Yeon or what?)
They also asked about his shower scene – which had more infamous behind-the-scenes photos than the drama actually showed. Park noted that he didn’t prepare in particular for that scene (but since he’s an actor, he must always be buffed). Some of the fashion that he wore were also his own, and some were even given to him by his fans. All I can say is, good taste! I never had a big problem with his clothes since he pulled them off really well.
His next fan meeting will be held in Osaka, since many fans have hoped to see him there. He’s one helluva actor who likes to make his fans happy too, whether visiting them via fan meetings or taking pictures during breaks on set.
