Family is the ultimate hope and the fortress that keeps us up. ‘The Road Home’ talks about families of nowadays; the disbanded family relationships of the current time. People often say ‘I am happy for my family’, but we no longer find much meaning from these words, as we did in the past. Even though many families are now separated into nuclear families, ‘family’ has its root in the large family structure. This drama is about a journey; the journey of a nuclear family changing back to a large family. While talking about families of these days, "The Road Home" also questions about the true meaning of happiness.
上面是KBS官网《回家的路》英文剧情梗概，本人英文水平有限，试着翻译了一下：
家庭始终是我们最后的希望以及让我们不被打倒的堡垒！《回家的路》这部剧谈论就是当今的家庭以及当今被解散的家庭关系。人们常说：“因为我的家庭所以我很快乐！”我们现在已经不像以前那样觉得这些字有多少意义了！纵然现在很多家庭被分成小家庭，但“家庭”始终是大家庭结构之源！这部剧是关于一段征途，是小家庭回归到大家庭的征途！在谈到家庭的这些天来，《回家的路》同样询问幸福的真谛！
PS：乐儿的hurley亲指点了一句“我们现在已经不像以前那样觉得这些字有多少意义了！”比之前我翻的那句更准确更贴近本意，所以更改了一下！
