On the episode of 'A Gentleman's Dignity' that aired on July 1st, the personal history of Park Min Sook was shown.
Lee Jong Rok who likes every girl in the world except his wife, gets kicked out of the house because of pure evidence that he cheated. Lee Jung Rok(Lee Jong Hyuk) sneaks into the house while Park Min Sook is out to gather some of his belongings.
Even at the verge of a divorce Lee Jong Rok, decides to avoid his wife. Right before he is about to leave the house, he opens the fridge and packs the remaining herbal medicine in his bag. But right when he is doing this Park Min Sook comes home.
Lee Jung Rok freezes and doesn't know what to do when Park Min Sook finds him in the kitchen. Then she goes on to comment "You really care about your body. Do you even know what that herbal medicine is for?" Lee Jong Rok replies "It's to make babies. You should take the herbal medicine consistently too."
Hearing what Lee Jung Rok says, Park Min Sook turns her head around to hide her tears and tells him "Get out." Lee Jung Rok leaves the house in despair saying "I do have to get out."
Analyzing the scene, it shows that Park Min Sook is infertile. Her character is in her 40s but has the appearance of a young 30s women, that obtains wealth and brains but her infertility shows how lonely she is.

SBS 'A Gentleman's Dignity' writer Kim Eun Sook has replied to the many questions of Park Min Sook's (Kim Jung Nan) infertility.
On the 3rd a twitter user tweeted to writer Kim Eun Sook "On episode 13, Min Sook cried after Lee Jung Rok's statement toward her about the herbal medicine. Is that tears of joy, moving tears, or tears of hate? I wanna know the truth!"
On the 12th episode of 'A Gentleman's Dignity,' Park Min Sook tells Lee Jung Rok who constantly takes his herbal medicine "You take care of your body exquisitely well. Do you even know what type of medicine that is?" Lee Jung Rok responds to her saying "Isn't to make babies? You should take it constantly too." Then Park Min Sook gets teary and cries after Lee Jung Rok leaves the house.
Kim Eun Sook replied to the tweet "I see that the reactions towards this scene between the viewers are very divided. I wrote it to be moving tears, which she feels he cares for her. I didn't realize that people would even take it in as something differently." She has replied that Park Min Sook is not infertile in the drama.
