Hi guys i've finished comparing the script for ep16 with the actual episode. I just put a brief description for scenes that did not get cut so you can rewatch the episode to see what fits where.
Scene 1 - Dongha helping Bomi get on the rocks to talk to Sujeong no cut
Scene 2 - Bomi and Dongha return from Udo no cut
Scene 3 - Dongha and Dongwook talk about Bomi's condition no cut
Scene 4 - Bomi and Myunghee talking (first few lines of conversation was cut)
Bomi: Mom, you're disappointed right? I'm sorry..
Myunghee: Then hurry up and get better. When you're healthy we'll have another wedding.
Bomi: If i'm healthy you'll oppose the marriage.
*Myunghee laughs*
Scene 5 (whole scene was cut)
Dongha meets Hyunsoon to pass her the gifts from Myunghee. They talk about Bomi's condition, Dongha apologises for not telling her about his marriage with Bomi, and also Dongha proposes to do donation to Hyegil Hospital for their annual social work thing.
Scene 6 (whole scene cut)
Hyuksoo asks Dongwook to leave this flop hospital. Dongwook refuses. Hyuksoo calls Dongwook a tick. Dongwook says he is not a tick he is like a son to Hyuksoo.
Hyuksoo: Hey come to your senses! Your brother is my son in law. If you were my son what kind of confusing family tree is this!
Dongwook: There are many other things to worry about, so don't worry about me. Honestly don't you think as long as im here there is hope?
Hyuksoo then talks a little about Jiwon being a spy for Chairman Song.
Scene 7 - Jiwon and Chairman Song in a coffeeshop no cut
Scene 8 - Jiwon and Dongwook outside the coffeeshop no cut
Scene 9 - Bomi's hospital room Sena placing photos of Bomi/Dongha around the room
(Bomi and Sena conversation about placing the photos here and there is not in the script)
Bomi: Thanks so much unnie.
Sena: The photos makes the room look like a newlyweds house and not like a hospital room.
*Bomi senses something is up with Sena.*
Sena: *Sena takes out some things from her bag that Bomi requested. Crochet hook and purple yarn.* Here.
Bomi: Thanks unnie. But why do you look like that? Did something happen?
Sena: When you were on your honeymoon i went to Hyungwoo's house. It took us 5 minutes by car to travel from the front gates to the front porch. The bathroom is as big as my house and they have 4 bathrooms! While looking for the living room i got lost and had to use the navigation to find my way. And that's not even all of it! They have a fountain in their garden, horse riding course(?)(i dont what to call this lol) and a helicopter pad.
Bomi: But why are you depressed? He didn't hide anything from you. You didn't believe him.
Sena: We're way to different (scale). He doesn't look like a chaebol. Isn't that a foul/he is not playing fair?
Bomi: Tell me honestly how you feel.
Sena: Dae~aeeeee~bak! I was so surprised i feel like i hit the jackpot! Bom Bom, i must have saved a country in my previous life. Aheuheuheu!
Bomi: Hurry and help me. (to change into hanbok)
Sena: Ok ok ok
(scene continues with Dongha and Hyunsoon arriving)
Scene 10 - Myunghee and Hyunsoon talk no cut
Scene 11 (whole scene cut)
Bomi's hospital room. Bomi is crocheting something.
Dongha: Your hands are weak what are you making? Something for me?
Bomi: Keep dreaming~! (she actually says 'wake up from your dream!' sarcastically same kind of meaning)
Dongha is sulking.
Bomi: But husband-nim, can you really spend so much time here and not at work?
Dongha: This is my rest time for my 5 years of constant working. I was too busy working i didn't even have time to think about anything. This honey taste like vacation feels good. So don't worry about it.
Bomi: Then why aren't you resting? You're not resting right now. You are ve~ry busy right now.
Dongha: Ah that, for Bomi-ssi, im doing a little studying here and there..
Bomi: Dongha-ssi i like you.., but i don't need you. (please see ep11 she is using his words back at him haha) Don't be disappointed. I'm living not for my family but for you.
Dongha: Okay, alright.
Bomi: There many doctors outside. Don't forget that and just be with me.
*in the script the scene continues with Bomi writing the Winnie the Pooh quote on the pill with Dongha sitting beside her. this scene will be shown after scene 12 in the actual episode*
Scene 12 - Meeting with hospital board of directors no cut
Scene 13 - Bomi, Dongha, Pureun, Bada, Myunghee in Bomi's room and later Hyuksoo comes in no cut
Scene 14 - Montage, drawing scene no cut
Scene 15 - Montage, hospital outside (whole scene cut) no dialogue
Bomi and Dongha hand in hand taking a walk outside the hospital grounds. They both see Jiwon and Dongwook sitting on a bench eating their lunch together happily. Jiwon and Dongwook sees them looking at them and they get flustered. Dongha and Bomi just smiles at them. Another happy pill into the bottle.
This scene here from the preview is for scene 15.
Scene 16 - Montage, Dongha playing baduk with Hyuksoo, Myunghee Hyunsoon Bommi eating fruit no cut
Scene 17 - Montage, Dongwook and Jiwon visits and brings present for Pureun and Bada no cut
Scene 18 - Montage, Bada sleeping on Bomi's bed while Pureun reads a book no cut
Scene 19 - Bomi finishes the mitten starts coughing up blood no cut
Scene 20 - Outside the echodiography room (whole scene cut no dialogue)
Dongha and Myunghee are waiting anxiously for Bomi to finish her echo check up. Bomi comes out from the room with Hyuksoo with a sad expression, looks at Dongha apologetically. Myunghee takes Bomi back to her room.
Scene 21 - Dongha Dongwook Hyuksoo talking about Bomi's worsening condition no cut
Scene 22 - Dongha standing at the corridors no dialogue no cut
*after this scene, in the actual episode it cuts to scene 31 Sena and Hyungwoo talking*
Scene 23 - Bomi's room (whole scene cut)
Nurse is putting on iv on Bomi and adjusting here and there. Bomi looks at Myunghee. Myunghee sees the purple yarn.
Myunghee: What are you making. Do you need my help?
Bomi nods. Myunghee starts crocheting and Bomi soothes a forlorn looking Myunghee. Dongha enters and Bomi looks at him and doesn't know what to say, she starts coughing.
Dongha: Don't try to talk.
Myunghee: We need to do something.
They quickly put on an oxygen mask on Bomi.
Scene 24 - Myunghee's office (whole scene cut)
Hyuksoo: Let's not be weak. Bomi is already enduring so much, you shouldn't be like this.
Myunghee: How much longer must we wait?
Hyuksoo: We'll have another meeting soon.
Myunghee: Is there no other way?
Hyuksoo: You already know we can't cut in line again.
Scene 25 - Bomi talking about her dream Dongha is a fisherman (second half cut)
*actual episode this scene appears after scene 40 when Pureun visits Bomi to say her goodbyes*
Bomi wakes up to see Sena and Hyungwoo has come to visit.
Dongha: Look who came to visit~
Sena: Bom Bom look at this.
Hyungwoo takes out a glass bottle filled with paper cranes. This is a gift from one of the hospital patients from when Bomi was a nutritionist. (remember ep6 when Bomi cleans her room after being fired she reads letters from children) Next gift is nuts from the Security ahjussi (see ep 1 when Bomi arrives to the hospital after trip to the morning market) Last is gift from granny patient (see ep 1 stubborn granny patient that didnt want to eat gross hospital food) she made some beef bone soup for Bomi. Bomi smiles as remembers each of them.
Dongha: Our Bomi-ssi sure did a lot act of kindness (i dont know how to translate this part lol in korean its 우리 봄이씨가, 지은 복이 참 많구나)
Bomi: Did you know because of the beef bone soup we got to meet!
Sena: That's right!
(this scene from the preview is for scene 25)
Scene 26 - Bomi writes her last happy pill and faints no cut
*actual episode this scene appears after the Sena Hyungwoo scene 31*
Scene 27 - Dongha Dongwook Myunghee Hyuksoo discuss Bomi's condition no cut
Scene 28 - Dongha Dongwook outside hospital (whole scene cut)
Dongwook apologizes to Dongha for not being able to do anything. Dongha says Sujeong's death is not Dongwook's fault. Dongha blames himself for blaming Dongwook and apologizes. Dongha doesn't want Dongwook to carry burden like that again (refering to Bomi).
Scene 29 - Hyuksoo meeting with board of directors again no cut
Scene 30 - Everyone waits for Bomi to finish her surgery no cut
Scene 31 - Sena and Hyungwoo talking about Bomi outside the hospital no cut
Scene 32 - ICU room Bomi wakes up and sees Dongha no cut
Scene 33 - Bomi's room, Hyuksoo wants to do surgery for artificial heart Bomi doesn't want surgery no cut
Scene 34 - Dongha goes home (whole scene cut)
Bokhee is folding laundry. The children are in their rooms.
Bokhee: Aigoo, i forgot how your face looks like. This person! (she is lightly scolding him for not being home for a long time) Have you eaten dinner?
Dongha: Mother in law~ This.. (hands her a gift the mittens Bomi made) I found this a while ago when i went back to the Udo house.
Scene 35 - Bokhee opening her gift and reading letter from Sujeong no cut
Scene 36 - Dongha talking to Sujeong's photo no cut
Scene 37 - Bomi sees her shoes tied up with Dongha's shoes no cut
Scene 38 - Dongha talking to Pureun (last few lines were cut)
Pureun: I promise I won't cry. I don't want Bomi unnie to leave without being able to say goodbye to her first like mom did.
Scene 39 - Bomi talking to Myunghee no cut
Scene 40 - Pureun visit Bomi to say goodbye no cut
Scene 41 - Hyuksoo in scrubs prepares for surgery. Doesn't look confident. no cut
Scene 42 - Bomi and Dongha talk before she goes in for surgery no cut
Scene 43 - Bomi is wheeled in for surgery as Dongha watches her no cut
Scene 44 - Epilogue
(in the script they use the word epilogue for the last scene Bomi Sujeong on the operating table with the 3rd person)
The actual script doesnt have any dialogues just describes Sujeong holding out her hand to Bomi and smiling and Bomi holding out her other hand to the other person. It ends with, Bomi slowly reaches out her hand to the other person with a smile on her face.. END
*Bomi's final line 'This was the springtime of my life because I was with you who I love dearly.' is not in the script*
Lol that was long haha. I'm sorry if some of these don't make sense. I don't know how to explain them in pretty english sentences so i tried to put them as simple as i can. |
