The next morning, Yoonhee is about to go back to the other students, but Sunjoon tells her that she should stop going. He says that it's the law, and this can't happen. Yoonhee refuses, saying that he was the one to tell her that she can make it happen, that she can follow her dreams. "Why? Because I'm a woman? A poor person... a nam-in... they can dream and make miracles, but a woman shouldn't?" She tells him she was born a woman and she didn't choose to be one, just like she didn't choose to be born into a poor nam-in family. She says that she's not afraid of the law or the King's command, and leaves.
次晨 允熙想要回到學校去 先埈說她應要退學
他說這是國家法律 女人上學是不能發生的
允熙拒絕退學 允熙說當初是誰你要我進來成均館的
是你說我可以讓我的夢想實現 為什麼 就因為我是女的噢?
一個貧窮的南人嗎

允熙說她生為女人並非她所能選擇的

Sunjoon follows her and stops her (On a side note, somebody should count how many times Sunjoon has turned Yoonhee around by grabbing her shoulders. MMmmmfmfm I wish I was that shoulder. Okay sorry. Also! Coordinating the outfits! Couple look).

Yoonhee gets back to the other students, who suspect that she must have been out all night with a lover (she seems embarrassed at the idea that Sunjoon is her lover). When Jaeshin appears, Yoonhee apologizes for disappearing like that, and Jaeshin is pretty ticked. He tells her to think about those worrying for her, for once, and leaves. Yongha asks Yoonhee about Sunjoon, and Yoonhee is surprised he knows. Yeah dude. He's Gu Yongha.
允熙回來和其他儒生在一起時 被其他儒生嘲弄說 大物是和情人整夜在一起去了
(允熙似對先埈是自己的情人這件事感到害羞尷尬)
當在新出現時 允熙為自己無故消失不見的事向在新道歉
